That’s why TradeCard is proud to announce our partnership with the Harvesters Africa Empowerment Foundation. HAEF is devoted to improving lives across Nigeria through medical outreaches, education programs, and community empowerment projects. Together, we’re launching an inspiring new initiative called “Routes of Hope.”
What Is “Routes of Hope”?
Routes of Hope is a community-driven program aimed at supporting daily commuters in Lagos by making public transportation more affordable and accessible.
Through this partnership, TradeCard and Harvesters Africa will cover select transport routes across Lagos, including Ikorodu–CMS, Ajah–CMS, and Maryland–VI, and provide thousands of passenger rides each month.
This initiative is designed to ease the burden on working professionals, students, and families who rely on public transport every day.
Why Does This Initiative Matter?
In Nigeria, over 72% of citizens depend on public transport for their daily commute. For many, transport costs consume a significant portion of their monthly income, often limiting their ability to save or invest in other essentials.
Through Routes of Hope, TradeCard aims to create tangible relief. By offering free rides, we’re not just helping people get from one place to another; we’re helping them move forward in life.
Each participant in the program can save up to ₦20,000 every month, a meaningful amount that can go toward other household needs.

What’s Next?
The Routes of Hope program will officially launch soon, with dedicated buses operating across the selected Lagos routes three days a week. More information on how to participate or benefit from the initiative will be shared soon via the TradeCard app and our social media platforms.
