Competing on the world stage requires world-class attire, and Adidas dropped its highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup kits, featuring home jerseys for 22 nations. The jerseys represent countries including Argentina, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Mexico. The collection dropped on Thursday, Nov. 6, and includes both short-sleeve and long-sleeve styles.
Adidas said the collection “combines historic visual identities and traditions of each nation and portrays them in a modernist, forward-looking aesthetic.” While the jerseys are made for the World Cup, several of the teams represented are still competing in qualifiers and looking to secure their spot. Teams that don’t qualify will still wear their home jerseys for the 2026 international season.
Naturally, the jerseys are built with performance in mind. They’re made from Adidas’ CLIMACOOL+ moisture-wicking material, the three stripes on the shoulder are perforated, and the fabric and trim feature mesh holes for improved breathability.
The FIFA World Cup takes place in North America. Qualifiers began in late September and run through the end of March 2026. The FIFA World Cup tournament begins June 11, 2026, and runs through July 19.
Canada will host matches in Vancouver and Toronto, while Mexico will host matches in Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey. Meanwhile, the U.S. will host games in 11 cities, including Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York/New Jersey.
