Laila Charani, one of Ned Nwoko’s wives, has taken to Instagram to set the record straight following her recent feud with Regina Daniels, sharing a detailed and candid series of posts addressing the controversy, defending herself, and revealing several shocking claims
She opened by addressing allegations about drvg use, saying, “I didn’t say that I don’t smoke shisha, go bang your head against a wall. At least I don’t do drvgs. I can do blood tests for you and let her do it too.” This was a direct rebuttal to accusations that she engaged in substance use.
Laila went further to firmly deny any accusations of infidelity, stating, “At least I am not following men; they are the ones following me everywhere… I don’t cheat.” She emphasized her fidelity, making it clear that she has remained loyal and has no extramarital affairs.
She also called out Regina Daniels for speaking about her son, warning, “She talking about my son, is she scared to do something to her son? Be careful, I trust my children.” Laila expressed her protective instincts over her family and made it clear that she would not tolerate attacks on her children.
In addition, Laila addressed a friend named Ann, who reportedly criticized her, saying, “Just look at your level before talking about me. I never looked at you and you are not my level, dear. I don’t have friends in my life, how will I look at you? Couldn’t believe she said that about me.” She used this to assert her boundaries and highlight that she does not engage with people who speak negatively about her.
She also addressed claims that she had “come back with an apology,” clarifying, “People are saying I came back with an apology, I did this for my children.” Laila stressed that her actions were motivated by her desire to protect her family rather than any personal grievance. She further highlighted her independence, saying, “I have four houses in Morocco and I have a shop. Please stop this, we are tired of this drama.”
Laila also hinted at the underlying tension with Regina, noting that part of the conflict stemmed from Ned Nwoko’s affection for her, saying, “He loved me, that’s why she couldn’t accept it and she left him.”
Acknowledging that English is not her first language, she added, “If I made mistakes with my English, I am a Moroccan woman and I speak French more than English, thanks.”
