Nigerian Catholic priest suggests VDM and Mr Jollof’s mid-fliight fight is a "diversionary tactic to prevent people from discussing the country’s real problem"

A Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Chidi Angelo Unegbu, has suggested that some trending topics on Nigerian social media including VDM and Mr Jollof’s mid-flight physical altercation, are deliberate diversionary tactics to prevent people from discussing the country’s real problems. 

“It seems that some people are deliberately promoting these diversionary tactics on Nigerian social media to prevent people from discussing the country’s real problems. Today, it is fighting on airplanes. Stop falling for all these distractions,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.
