@MaxWinebach shares a report analysis on supply chain information. While the reports aren’t officially from the company, they still present useful information about the industry market from reliable sources.
Regarding the foldable iPhone, the launch date will likely be in the second half of 2026. It won’t come with a Face ID, but will feature two 24MP selfie cameras, one under the display and the other on the cover screen. It will pack a dual-lens 48MP+48MP setup with an ultrawide sensor but no telephoto lens. Given the thin design of the foldable iPhone, it takes on a minimalist design.
iPhone Air 2
Previous reports showed that the iPhone Air had been facing poor sales, to the extent of not having any consumer demands. We all thought the slim phone lineup would end there. But just like Samsung didn’t give up on slim phones, Apple has refused to back down that easily and has decided to make a follow-up for the model.

The iPhone Air 2 will launch in 2026, while the iPhone Air 3 will be out in 2027. The iPhone Air 2 will likely come with the same single-lens 48MP rear camera as the first Air smartphone.
The report also makes mention of the iPhone 18 devices. It suggests that while the iPhone 18 and the iPhone 18e will be launched in 2027, the other iPhone 18 handsets will arrive in September 2026.
