Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has renewed his feud with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, over his birthday message to him
The two, who have had a long-standing political feud, were believed to have patched things up at the ex-Governor’s birthday party over the weekend.

Obasanjo attended Fayose’s 65th birthday celebration in Lagos on Saturday, where he criticized Fayose for past personal attacks but claimed he had forgiven him.
However, Fayose’s response, shared in a statement by Obasanjo’s Media Aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, on Monday, expressed sharp displeasure over the former president’s comments.
In part of the message, Fayose wrote:
“Dear Baba Obasanjo, I trust this meets you well. I appreciate your coming to my birthday party, except for your very irresponsible comments at your age. You went so low, but I am not surprised because someone once said you are supposed to be kept away in the zoo. Sincerely, that’s where you belong. I kept quiet at the function so the world could see the difference between a sane and a mad man. It is also obvious that you have lost your sanity—or should I say it is the heightened stage of dementia. Not to worry Baba, I shall set the records straight in due course of time. Lastly, I shall appreciate if you return my money since you publicly admitted you received but Dangote brought you back. Your leopard will never change his skin,” the letter concludes.
