Bandits have kidnapped the Ojibara of Bayagan, Oba Kamilu Salami, a traditional ruler in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara state
The incident has raised fresh alarm over the growing insecurity affecting communities across the state.
It was reported that the monarch was abducted on Saturday morning while on his farm, though details of the attack remain unclear.
Residents said the assault occurred suddenly, leaving the community gripped by fear and uncertainty.
Police authorities in Kwara State have yet to confirm the abduction.
