Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly celebrated his fifth wife, Laila Charani on social media, amid ongoing marital tensions with actress Regina Daniels
In a long message, Nwoko praised Laila’s quiet strength, patience, and unwavering kindness, calling her “the woman I love, the woman I cherish.”

He described Laila as someone who avoids social media attention, preferring a private life focused on what truly matters rather than the noise of online opinions. He emphasised that her character—gentle, thoughtful, and sincere—shines through without needing public validation.
Nwoko expressed frustration over the negative comments and false assumptions circulating online but stressed that he knows Laila’s true nature. “She does not defend herself on the internet because she knows her life and her worth are not determined by online opinions,” he wrote.
He also promised to always stand by her and protect her name, noting that she has been a constant source of stability, comfort, and wisdom in their home. He praised her ability to face challenges with patience and grace, allowing time and truth to speak for her.

Closing his tribute, Nwoko thanked those who have shown understanding and kindness during difficult moments and reaffirmed his admiration and support for Laila: “You are valued, you are loved, and you are far greater than anything said about you online. I am proud of the woman you are, and I will always stand with you, today and every day.”
