“Ultimately, it’s the roar of the crowd that keeps me going,” says the star
Jin went on his first-ever solo tour amid BTS‘ hiatus this year — and found his fans and ARMY everywhere he went. On Friday, the K-pop star released the first trailer for his upcoming concert film, RunSeokJin_EP.Tour The Movie, set to release on Dec. 27 and 28 at global screenings.
“Performing without my members? Not in my wildest dreams,” he says to start the minute-long trailer. “I think I was nervous.”
The video captures Jin performing on his world tour, which took him to 10 cities across the globe, as he explores stardom without his brothers in the band. In the trailer, he’s captured meeting with fans, taking massive stages around the world across his 2025 tour, and celebrating the success of his albums Happy and Echo.
“A performance isn’t complete without ARMY. It makes me think, ‘This is why I perform,’” Jin declares at the end of the trailer. “Ultimately, it’s the roar of the crowd that keeps me going.”
The upcoming film is set to feature HQ clips of his live performances, intimate interviews with Jin, behind-the-scenes footage, costume changes, and “other special moments,” according to a press release. The screening events will include exclusive bonus clips, including a video of Jin preparing for tour, a sing-along game, and a karaoke version of his song “Super Tuna.”
Junsoo Park directed the film, which was produced by Hybe Media Studio with Se Jun Lee, and is set to be distributed globally by Trafalgar Releasing and in Korea and Japan by CJ 4DPLEX.
