The new price, effective December 12, 2025, applies to all customers purchasing directly from the refinery, according to a notice issued by the company on Thursday.
Under the revised pricing structure, the refinery stated that the ₦699 per litre rate is available to customers who meet specific conditions, including a minimum order quantity of 500,000 litres.

10-day credit offered to marketers
The company is also offering a 10-day credit facility to marketers, a move likely aimed at improving liquidity for fuel distributors and encouraging wider market participation.
Since its commissioning, the Dangote Refinery has emerged as a pivotal player in lowering fuel prices and reducing Nigeria’s dependence on imported petroleum products.
The refinery is pursuing an ambitious expansion strategy that could increase its processing capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day, positioning it among the world’s largest refining complexes.

Recently, Dangote Refinery reached a major production milestone, achieving a combined daily output of 70 million litres of refined products, comprising 45 million litres of petrol and 25 million litres of diesel, a volume that exceeds Nigeria’s estimated domestic fuel consumption.
To sustain higher output levels, the facility has diversified its crude supply sources. It recently received its second crude shipment from Ghana, a development that coincided with a sharp reduction in crude imports from Europe, reflecting a shift toward regional sourcing.
