Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has attempted su!cide and was rushed to hospital following the collapse of her relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry
The incident happened after Ogala learned that the cleric had ended their romance and gone on to propose to another woman. In distress, the actress reportedly stabbed herself in the hand, causing severe bleeding.
A video shared online showed actor Digidi Dunhill accompanying her for medical treatment. In the clip, he pleaded, “Please I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please you have to come to her aid because she cut hand. Doris are you trying to commit suicide?”
The drama erupted shortly after a video of Pastor Okafor’s engagement surfaced online. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Ogala publicly accused him of dumping her despite allegedly assuring her of marriage.
Opening up about their years-long involvement, the actress claimed their relationship dated back to 2017 and alleged she once became pregnant for the pastor. She further accused him of taking money from her, forcing her out of her marriage, and leaking intimate materials, including a sex tape, nude images, and a miscarriage video.
She said, “After everything, after promising me marriage and disgracing me like this, turning my life upside down, you want to marry? I come to present my own account because I saw the proposal video and it’s not adding up to me. My heart is broken . We have been dating since 2017, you want to leave me and marry who?
“When I got married, you cried that I should leave the man. I left the man and came out. Who are you leaving me for? Who will marry me after sharing my miscarriage video? Your lawyer carried the video and gave it to my lawyer. My sex video with you, you carried my body and sent to your lawyer, and your lawyer sent it to another lawyer that sent it to my lawyer.
“After sharing my body publicly. You now want to marry after destroying my life. Was I behaving like this before you met me?”
The allegations have sparked widespread reactions online, with many expressing concern over Ogala’s wellbeing as the controversy continues to unfold.
