A video of Tiwa Savage breaking down in tears during a performance has surfaced online
The singer was performing her hit song ‘Somebody’s Son’ at the WeLovEya Festival in Cotonou, Benin Republic, when she became visibly emotional and struggled to continue.
The festival featured top African music stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido.
Despite the emotional moment, concertgoers cheered her on as she tried to sing through the tears.
Tiwa Savage has been open about her struggles with love and relationships.
She divorced her ex-husband Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun in 2018 and has since spoken about finding it challenging to balance her successful music career with her personal life.
