Samsung has revealed new Odyssey gaming monitors. The five models feature 6K glasses-free 3D support and up to 1,040Hz refresh rate. The company has introduced the Odyssey 3D, the Odyssey G6, and three variants of the Odyssey G8.
Samsung claims that the Odyssey 3D (G90XH) is the world’s first gaming monitor to offer a 6K-resolution, glasses-free 3D display. It features a 32-inch panel and supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz, along with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.

It uses real-time eye-tracking technology to deliver immersive 3D depth without the need for glasses. It also supports Dual Mode, enabling a 330Hz refresh rate. It offers a 1ms GtG response time.
Odyssey G6 (G60H) is another world-first, boasting an industry-leading 1,040Hz refresh rate. That extreme refresh rate is limited to HD resolution and the 27-inch monitor delivers up to 600Hz refresh rate, at its native QHD resolution. It also supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync.
More so, the Odyssey G8 is offered in three sizes. The 32-inch G80HS model features a 6K resolution, up to 165Hz refresh rate, and 330Hz in 3K resolution. The 27-inch G80HF variant features a 5K resolution, a 180Hz native refresh rate. It can reach up to 360Hz in QHD resolution.
Also, the 32-inch (G80SH) model features a 4K resolution QD-OLED panel that has a 240Hz refresh rate, an anti-glare coating, 300-nit brightness, and HDR True Black 500 certification. All three Odyssey G8 models support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync.
Though pricing and availability details will be revealed in the future, the new Samsung Odyssey Gaming monitor lineup will be revealed at the coming CES next year.
