Taaooma has lamented over the rise in one-way traffic violation in Lagos state
Taaooma on her X handle, claimed that the newly constructed coastal road has been experiencing traffic violations. She urged Nigerians to obey traffic rules, adding that breaking the law is not something anyone should be proud of.
”The coastal road is getting worse with the way people just use one way, especially okadas. You’ll be shocked!
As a concerned citizen, are you meant to be taking one way with your Benz? Why are you so proud to break traffic rules? Why do embrace oribiruku-ism? Some will even carry convoy and enter one way with the convoy. Why do you enjoy adanu so much?! All of you in the convoy including the foolish “law enforcement” officers,” she wrote.
”Good morning Nigerians, this is me reminding every road user in the country to please abide by traffic rules. It’s not nice to jump traffic lights or take one ways. Also very important; the markings on the road have their uses. It’s to make sure everyone stay in their lanes. You can’t just be switching and staying out of lanes anyhow, or at the sight of any small traffic create another lane. Lastly, to convoy people and law enforcement in them, you’re not any special than the regular road user. Stop blasting that nonsense siren and driving like a hoodlum!,” she added.
