Apple Music has released its highly anticipated Top Songs of 2025 (Nigeria) list — and it’s no surprise that the country’s biggest stars continue to shape the sound of the year. The rankings highlight a fierce competition among Afrobeats heavyweights, with Asake, Wizkid, and Davido once again proving their dominance on the Nigerian music scene.
Asake claims the No. 1 spot with his smash hit “Why Love,” a track that has enjoyed massive streaming success and cultural impact throughout the year. He also appears multiple times on the list, further cementing his run as one of Nigeria’s most influential hitmakers.
