VeryDarkMan has weighed in on the ongoing drama surrounding Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels and her family, following alarming news that her mother could be arrested
In a video shared online, VDM recounted that he personally contacted Senator Ned Nwoko to intervene and prevent any further escalation.
“I called Sen Ned, and I didn’t even know he would pick up, but he answered. I introduced myself as VeryDarkMan, and he said he recognized me,” he said.
According to VDM, he raised the issue directly with Nwoko regarding reports that Regina Daniels’ mother was under threat of arrest. “I told him, ‘Sir, I heard you wanted to arrest Regina’s mother again.’ He responded by explaining that her mother had posted online claiming his son d!ed in the UK due to drVg abuse. Meanwhile, his son actually passed away from cardiac arrest, which the autopsy confirms. He wanted her to clarify her statement.”
VDM emphasized that he appealed to the senator to reconsider, and after the discussion, Nwoko reportedly agreed not to proceed with the arrest.
“I pleaded with him, and he assured me that her mother would not be arrested again,” he added.
The intervention comes in the wake of the arrest and remand of Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, which has fueled concerns over the safety of other family members.
