President Bola Tinubu celebrates by sending birthday greetings to Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as he turns 58 on December 13
In his message, Tinubu thanked God for blessing Wike with a life marked by purpose, service, and courage. He described the Minister and former Rivers State governor as a bold achiever who overcomes challenges to deliver tangible results.

Highlighting Wike’s contributions to the FCT, the President noted the ongoing transformation of the territory’s infrastructure, particularly Wike’s role in breaking the 14-year deadlock on the Apo-Karshi road project.
Tinubu praised Wike for his resilience, proactive approach, and commitment to excellence, acknowledging his consistent efforts in advancing the development agenda of the Federal Capital.
“Nyesom Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, an exceptional performer, developing infrastructure in the Federal Capital as never seen before and proving that his moniker as ‘Mr Project’ is not limited to his home state of Rivers,” Tinubu said.
The President further commended Wike for being a key champion of the Renewed Hope Agenda despite belonging to a different political party and wished him continued strength and success in his service to the FCT.
