Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed his heartbreak at losing three close family members in the space of a few months.
He took to Instagram today to share photos from his mother’s burial to mark one year since she passed.
He wrote in the caption: “First was my grand mom, dad was making plans on how to bury her and then I lost my dad in the process, making plans on laying them to rest then I lost my mom in the process a year today.
“The world crumbled right before my eyes. A kind of pain I never wish for my enemy.
“We all dream of having a mother who is kind, loving, and genuine. My mother was more.
“Miss you everyday, I love you everyday and will miss you my whole life. May your spirit lead me. Till we meet again to part no more.”
Stanley Nwabali laid his parents to rest in his hometown of Okwuzi, Rivers State, in early June 2025, following the separate de@ths of his father in November 2024 and his mother in Dec. 31, 2024.
