The national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been sealed off by police following a violent clash between two rival factions on Tuesday
A visit to the PDP headquarters at Wadata Plaza, Abuja, on Wednesday revealed that barbed wire had been set up to block access to the premises.

Only a small contingent of police officers was present, and none of the leaders from the warring factions were in sight.
Despite the police barricade, a senior member of the faction led by Kabiru Turaki opposed the move, insisting that their group would gain access to their office. He declared that “no one can stop us from coming to our office,” signaling continued tensions within the party.
